Boca Grande Island Masquerade Ball and Fundraising Auction - Saturday, April 12, 2008
The Gulf Coast Preservation Society has rescheduled its masquerade ball and fundraising auction to Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the Boca Grande Community Center on Boca Grande (Gasparilla) Island, Florida. Proceeds from the event will go to help fund the 2008 production of a new PBS documentary film about the causes of red tide in the Gulf of Mexico, as well as causes and cures to the growing Dead Zone.

Tickets for this event are $100 each, and can be purchased online here, or picked up in person during regular business hours at the Boca Beacon newspaper offices on Boca Grande Island. Mark your calendar and make plans NOW to attend this inaugural ball which is sure to be a fun and lively event for all those attending. Masquerade attire is preferred but casual attire is also acceptable. Tell your friends about this fun event and worthwhile cause.
LIVE AUCTION
Before the dancing begins, both silent and live auctions will be held. Drinks and hor d'oeuvres will be served. The event starts at 7:00 pm on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the Boca Grande Community Center, 131 W. 1st Street, Boca Grande, FL.
